Thyroid problems are nothing compared with diabetes. Hypo and hyperthyroidism can be cured with medication. Diabetes is incurable. I had both hypothyroidism and gestational diabetes from pregnancy. Now hypothyroidism is gone, diabetes stays. It's a chronical disease, so it's for life. Mammogram is a little bit uncomfortable but not intolerable. There are many, many other things in life that are more painful than Mammogram, putting on an IV is one of them. If you think mammogram is painful, then think about the IV injections and the child birth process.
